MORE SAVED AND NOW SOME R&R

Praise the Lord for another week to serve Him. We made to Elizabeth City, NC and had a GREAT week. It was busy similar to the week before last by preaching at the Chritstian School during the mornings and to the adults in the evenings. God moved even from the first service. We saw some surrendered hearts, but definitely a joy was to see souls saved. There was a young man that was an exchange student from Sweden who was saved along with some other teens and adults. We saw all ages come to Christ last week!! What a blessing!

Now we have made it home for a little break, before heading out again. The last time we were home we were preparing for a funeral now we hope to kick back for real this time and get some rest. Although we are resting does not mean I'm not preaching, because I'll be preaching this Thursday in our school chapel. Preaching is in my bones and if I'm not preaching somewhere I'll preach to my the birds outside!! :)

Keep praying for us concerning my brother in law's death, it was the month anniversary not long ago and today we went to the burial site for the first time. The reality definitely is sinking in therefore we beg for your prayers God bless you!!

HURRICANE IRENE

Praise the Lord, we have made it safely through the storm. After finishing the Christian School Revival at Land 'O Lakes we headed straight for the airport in Tampa to have a very bumpy flight into New Bern, NC. We made it just before the wrath of the storm. We stayed at the church for a shelter for 2 days. After those two days of no shower and no bed we were very happy when we got to Elizabeth City and checked into our hotel. On the way we saw many many trees in power lines and some flooding of the roads, trees in some people's homes, but Praise the Lord we made it safely through with minimal damage.

We have now made it to Elizabeth City preaching at the Victory Baptist Church and the school. God has already done a work upon our wonderful welcome we received from the staff and faculty here. It's great to be at the church because of all the old friends from college that are here. One of my best friends Jonathan Eason is the assistant pastor/principal here, therefore we have definitely enjoyed the times of fellowship we are able to enjoy.

Keep praying for us as Jasmine is going through the "teething phase" therefore its been quite different than past months, also pray as we try to figure housing arrangements and which travel trailer we should purchase or not to purchase.

REVIVAL Services that are REVIVAL Services

Thank the Lord for His hand being very evident here in Land 'O Lakes, FL. We left Elmer, NJ and Praise the Lord for the souls saved there, but now we hasten on to another great meeting.

In morning time, I'm preaching to the Christian School for their "Spiritual Emphasis Week" and in the evening a Revival Service for the entire church. The Devil has been fighting but God has been working. There have evident signs of God's working in individual's lives, and it is my privilege just to be along for the ride.

Keep praying as there is still more time, and I do not believe God is done doing a work here among the folks that are here with an anticipating spirit awaiting what God is going to do next.

TEEN REVIVAL

We have started out in Mansfield, OH and have had some walls to work through with teens. God blessed and we saw some saved and Lord willing some effected for eternity. Good decisions were told to me by a few teenagers who came to me afer the services. Some made some things right with their parents and others made other commitements to rid themselves of different media avenues of temptations as well. Through it all God was glorified and we thank Him for that.

We have just started the meeting here in Elmer, NJ. I preached this Sunday all the serivecs and watched God bless with a responding from the moving of the Holy Spirit. This church had people praying through the service for the message and the messneger and it definitely made a differnece. God uses prayer and it has been evident in our lives. Please pray for the continuation of the week that teens would be saved and that God would be glorified.

Funeral Follow-up and Meeting Update

The homegoing of my brother in law was a shock to say the least. My wife and I had returned home for a week of vacation after a very busy summer. The first day we were home we received the word the Leon had been injured and that it was not critical. We began to pray for his medical flight home. We did not realize just 12 hours later God would take my brother in law home to glory. When received the news, of course there were many many tears and times of dismay since he was leaving behind a pregnant wife and 2 boys under the age of 4, but through it all we were able to sorrow as those who have hope, not as though who sorrow who have no hope.

While Leon was in Afghanistan, he was going to take a shower at the bathhouse when the enemy spotted and fired a RPG (rocket propelled grenade) and it blew up puncturing the lung of Leon. As he was medivaced out of the area he was conscious enough to ask for his men and if they were okay. When he flew away, they expected a full recovery, nevertheless God saw fit to take him home 12 hours later.

At the funeral there was a sense of grief yet rejoicing, as we focused on the fact that GOD TOOK HIM. We are not going to argue with God nor charge God foolishly. Through the funeral and because of many many prayers across the nation the entire family experienced God's grace first hand. It's a feeling that you must have to be able to explain. Souls were saved as a result of his death. Through it all, there is a sense of victory as we can lift our heads to Heaven and say, "God's Been Good!!"

We honor him for His service to this nation, and his sacrifice will never be forgotten, please though continue to pray for the family, especially his dear wife, Mary Lucas, as she is due this winter with their 3rd child and many decisions of housing, moving, and other pressing matters need to be decided upon in the very near future.

After the funeral, my family and I went straight home and packed till around 1am and got up at 3am and drove to the airport to catch our 6:20a plane to preach in Mansfield, Ohio at 6:45pm that night. Needless to say we have been busy. Keep the family in prayer as Jasmine tries her hand at flying now for the first couple of times. God bless you prayer and financial supporters!

Newirk Baptist Temple VBS

Thank the Lord for another great week! We are happy to report there were 18 saved between the kids and teens and there were around 150 kids and teens there when we were expecting 100 on the high end. God was so good but it was definitely alot of work, because of the abnormal Ohio heat!
We are now at Tri State Bible Camp, where I'll be preaching here for a week. Please keep us in prayer as we travel many many more miles for the glory of God!!

WOW! WHAT A SUMMER!! 85 saved and counting!!

PRAISE THE LORD for the summer thus far! It has been insanely busy, hence I have not update in quite a while for which I apologize.

Since the last time we have begun IMPACT YOUTH MINISTRY/ STRONG MINISTRIES and we started at Land 'O Lakes, FL where collectively for the VBS there were around 60 that were saved. We worked with the teenage program and saw salvation's as well as many other life changing decisions. God gave us safe travel as we traveled from there up to Somerville, AL. Which while there we saw 35 young people and teenagers saved and many other great decisions. In fact on Thursday night during the teen service we had one of those, "Heaven came down type service" It was incredible. After that VBS, we traveled 768 miles to Maryland for a youth 3 on 3 Basketball tournament, which changed to a youth rally. We preached at Victory Baptist Church all day Sunday and met some great life long friends in the process.

Now we are getting ready for services in Lebanon, OH. Please keep us in prayer because with all these amazing results we have not been immune to the Devil attacks.

God Bless You for your support!!

Youth Camps

Thank the Lord for the 2 good meetings we had this past week at camps. We started off at Harvest Time Bible Camp in NC then we went on to Reuge Baptist Camp in GA. The Lord blessed in both places, many were saved at Harvest Time as we are able to spend the majority of the week with them.  We enjoy and love camp and camp work and this summer is no exception.

After preaching at two camps we then swung around and I preached in Wilson, NC at my father in law's church to fill the pulpit in his absence. I enjoyed the one Sunday I had being a pastor instead of an evangelist, but its good to be back in the evangelist mode again. :)

Please keep us in prayer as little Jasmine has been sick for close to a week now with some cold that is going around. We took her to her pediatrician today, and Lord willing waiting for her just to come out of it. Please pray as well as we prep for 2 full weeks of VBS in the upcoming days. God bless you all.

SUMMER IS HERE!

Hello once again praying friends,

We are in Ellensboro, NC at Harvest Time Bible Camp preaching a week of meetings here. God has blessed in the past week with some time to be able to spend with my family. They came up to NC for a visit and we enjoyed the time of fellowship that we had.

Now that the summer is here things have already got off to a busy start. We go from here straight to another camp in Georgia called Refuge Baptist Camp, therefore we are certainly staying busy enough.

Please do not neglect to pray for us as we go up and down the roads for the glory of God. Please pray specifically in these areas.  1. For a larger vehicle    2. For a place to live that is closer to the interstate.         3. That the Lord would keep us healthy during these busy summer months. I have been having allergic reactions to something, but we have not narrowed down exactly as of yet.

Thanks again for your prayers and support!

Graduation Time of Year

During this busy time of year, graduations are everywhere going on. Thankfully we have had the privilege to be a part of a couple of ceremonies. I had the opportunity to preach at my old Christian school a week ago for graduation then on to my brother's graduation in FL. Now this weekend I head over to Wilson Christian Academy in Wilson, NC for their graduation exercises.

Pray for us as we continue to prepare for the busy summer months that await us. Thank you so much for all your prayers!!

THE WESTERN TRIP RESULTS

Praise the Lord for His goodness and provision over this last incredible trip. Jasmine is 3 months old and has already been to 20 states, therefore she has become quite the little road warrior!!

After 49 days, 120 hours of driving, Jasmine seeing 20 states, averaging 167 miles a day, but making it worth it all was statistically 1 person was saved every 3 days on the road!!

Thank you for your prayers and financial supporters we thank you as well for having a part in eternity.

Prayer request: Wisdom fo summer plans and a larger vehicle!

The Car.....

Praise the Lord for His provision through all things that have been going on over the past weeks.

The Lord blessed our time with Pastor Raymond Beckles in Newport, AR, they overwhelmed us with their generosity and love for the ministry.

After that we headed to Chattanooga, TN with Pastor Geeter for Easter Services. God blessed that and the time we were able to spend for their Young Adult Revival. God met with us in a special way during those breif revival services.

After that we made to Louisville, KY to be with Pastor Matthew Anders and the people of Landmark Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. We stayed with a great family and God blessed as we spoke to the young people about the importance of honoring their parents. Thank the Lord for that great meeting.

Now we are in Newirk, OH where I just finished preaching at the Newirk Baptist Temple with Pastor James Dennis and his great people. The generosity and warmth of the church could literally be felt during our stay. We had the privilege to preach to the young people during their Jr./Sr. Banquet and preach all day Sunday as well.

Now we are having car trouble thankfully it did not leave us stranded upon the road, but we made it to our next destination and the Lord has provided for our needs. The car's issue was the fuel pump which is looking to cost around $500 or so to fix!! God has shown himself faitful in providing for us during this time therefore we already in advance give Him the glory!!

Mile after Mile...

We have been literally hunderds of miles since our last post! I was stuck in Baltimore Airport due to the stoms for 3 days. And made it back to my family in Las Vegas on Monday afternoon. We traveled from Las Vegas and are in TN.

God gave us the opportunity to go to New Life Baptist Church in Alberquerque, NM and also visit good friends in Oklahoma City, OK and Newport, AR.

God blessed with a good revival as well in Chattanooga, TN with the good people of Grace Baptist Tabernacle with Pastor Geeter. The time of fellowship and preaching were some priceless moments spent. Thank you so much for your prayers.

Please keep our vehicle in prayer as we are having some mechanical difficulties while we are here in TN.

Peach Springs Bible Conference

This week has been most unique here in Arizona. We are celebrating the 400 year anniversary of the King James Version of the Bible, with a conference entitled, "Why the KJV?"

We have delved into both sides of the argument over the text and it has been most interesting. Hours upon hours of study has gone into this conference and I believe the Lord has used it to establish the beliefs of some and challenge others.

Keep us in prayer as tonight is the final night before we head to Las Vegas, NV

Flagstaff, AZ

Praise the Lord for great meetings with Northland Baptist Church in Flagstaff, AZ. The church is right next to West Branch which is part of the Bill Rice Ranch in Murfreesboro, TN.

The morning service was a blessing with a young girl being saved and 2 adults who had alot of questions concerning salvation who will be followed up with at a later time. Our time out west has been wonderful!

Now we are at Open Door Baptist Church with Pastor Kurt Kramer in Catalina, AZ looking forward to great services tonight.

Please pray for my wife and Jasmine who both trying to get over some sickness they have had for the last week or so. Thank the Lord that even through it all my wife and Jasmine have done great in this out west trip!

It was Teas NOW Arizona

Thank the Lord for the trip that we made to Houston, TX. We were at Christ Church Baptist Fellowship with Pastor Johnny Pope preaching to the young people. Praise the Lord that 4 were saved, 2 of them being guest. It was a blessing to meet and and get more acquainted with Pastor Pope and the great folks of Christ Church.

Now the last days have been spent driving and more driving. At this point we have logged over 48 hours behind the wheel since Mid March. Please keep us in prayer for our safety.

Well tomorrow we will be with Northland Baptist Church of Flagstaff, AZ. We looked forward to God doing a great work there!!
