Travel Update

Even though our mind and thoughts have surrounded the truck and trailer, we have been still proclaiming the Word of God. January is a lighter month usually which works out well since our anniversary and Jasmine's birthday falls in the month of January. We were preaching locally at Grace Christian School and also Calvary Christian Academy.

Currently we are packing getting ready to hit the road for about a month and a half straight with travels spanning from NC to WI. Please keep us in prayer for the entire trip and we pray to disclose what great things He hath done in the coming days ahead!

Pray for little Jasmine and I who are currently sick!

Pray for our car that is in need of repairs as well!

THE STORY OF HOW GOD PROVIDED THE TRAILER

God has done amazing things these past couple of days. Concerning the trailer, here is the story...

I was preaching at Tri State Bible Camp for their Winter Retreat. During one of the activities I was speaking to a Youth Pastor friend of mind from NJ during the course of conversation I brought up our desire for a trailer. Another youth Pastor from NY overheard the conversation and stated he had a truck and trailer he was trying to sell. Well I was listening to him describe the beautiful trailer and my thought throughout is "this is way out of out price range" "there is no way we could ever afford one like that" and so on..

Well after my mouth was watering with covetousness he told me the price and he made the watering mouth just drop!! It turned out the trailer was previously owned by another evangelist that sold it to the youth pastor from NY for a GREAT deal, then after the Lord directed this youth pastor to where he is now he selling it to us for GREAT GREAT deal. It turns out the trailer cost less than my car and the monthly payments are lower than that of my vehicle. GOD IS SO GOOD!! It pays to trust him!!

He has the truck as well and praying that God would help us raise $5,000 to buy the truck outright. He just wants that which is left owed on the truck. God is so goodl, using His people to help us along in the ministry He has called us to!

Northern Excursion

We have been some traveling people this past week. Thankfully we made it safe to Tri-State Bible Camp and preached there the weekend. During the meeting, one teenager went back for salvation and other decisons were made including teens that purposed in their hearts not to just be good but to be GREAT for God. Lord willing we pray that they live it out when they go home.

Next after preaching 3 times on Saturday we headed over to Connecticut to Pastor Chris Birkholz and New Hope Baptist Church. It was our first time there and it was a GREAT experience. We loved the generosity of the people as well as the hospitality. We had a great time of fellowship with the Pastor (a PCC grad as well). Actually so much so that we Lord willing might plan a trip to Honduras this coming summer together with his church. Please pray for us about that opportunity.

Next we headed to NYC in the Queens boro to meet Pastor Williams the Pastor of Parkway Baptist Church. We are praying about the opportunity to possibly work with a church for longer than the typical week or half a week model of evangelism, but stay as long as we can or till when sufficient help arrives.  Therefore we are considering this church due to the great need his area represents. Please pray about those concerns as well.

Today we find ourselves in Waynesboro, PA with the folks of Antrim Faith Baptist Church. Long time friends of ours now and look forward to always stopping for preaching and the fellowship.

Tri-State Bible Camp

We have just pulled in to Tri-State Bible Camp and ready to get started here with the 2012 Winter Retreat. The camp is full to capacity with teenagers with a waiting list and we are excited to get things started.

Please pray with us that God would meet with us during these meetings and that God would be honored and glorified through it all. Were praying for souls saved, Christian teens to commit fully to God in areas of purity and obedience to God.

Wilson Christian Academy Meeting

We started out 2012 with our annivesary on January 2. We celebrated 2 wonderful years of marriage. Thank the Lord we were able to have some time off and enjoy some alone time in Emerald Isle, NC.

After this we made it over to Wilson, NC and preached at Wilson Christian Academy for some opening semester meetings. I'm happy to report that 4 went back for salvation and that there were many other decisions.

Of those decisions I encouraged the young people to make a vow of purity which many of them did. I have been preaching purity strongly here in recent days more than any other time of ministry.

Please pray as the next stop is Tri State Bible Camp in Montague, NJ

CHRISTMAS UPDATE

Well things have been busy this Christmas Season.

1. I had a the opportunit to be a part of the Central Indiana Youth Conference.  www.ciyr.org/ It was a blessing there were around 4 saved and many other decisions made by the teenagers. There were about 350 in attendance the Lord came and met with us during that time in a special way.

2. After that we went to Charleston, SC and met up with Pastor Greg Powell for their Christmas Outreach Service. We saw one young man saved during the morning service and had the opportunity to hear the Day Break Quartet during the meeting.

3. Later we headed to Columbus, GA with Pastor Jeff Amsbaugh. They hosted Christmas at Grace and Praise the Lord for the 8 teenagers saved during the rally and also for the Christians that dealt with rebellion as well. It was such a blessing to a be part of the great ministry there!

4. Then we headed for our home church Grace Baptist Church and preached Sunday Evening Services before Christmas.

We pray all of you have a very Merry Christmas and please pray about us getting a trailer sometime in the near future!

Thanksgiving Update

Praise the Lord that we were able to have a week off and time for family and friends. Last time we had a week off it was clouded with funeral arrangements for my brother in law. Thankfully we were able to have a much more peaceful and enjoyable time.

We are making arrangemnets now to head on to Indiana, then South Carolina, and finally to Georgia before the end of the year. Please pray for safety as we travel and that God's hand once again will be on the meeting seeing that most of them have a strong evangelistic emphasis.

GA Revival

After we got back to NC after some serious mileage on the road we were able to take a couple of days to go back to our own home church and be preached to at revival services there. God used Bro. David Sommerdorf to help our church in many ways mainly recognizing once again who our God really is.

We left this morning at 5:00 and now have safely arrived in Savannah/Rincon, GA. Looking forward to getting started with the revival services at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Hanun. Things have been exciting here on the road and were looking forward to what God is going to do tonight especially since we are expecting a good group of young people to be part of the services.

Please continue to pray as we have earnestly been praying for a travel trailer to make things a little easier getting down the road. God Bless, and thank you for your prayer support!

CATCH UP UPDATE!

Hello again, Please forgive the long time it has been since I have not updated, we have been away from an internet connection for a while and it has caused a lapse in our communication. To bring everyone up to speed over the past events let me start a week or so ago.

After the camp meeting and the FBN Radio Station involvement, we headed back up to Wilson, NC to preach the Wednesday Evening service in the place of my father in law, Pastor Lucas, at Bethel Baptist Church. He was gone to a memorial service in California in honor of his son who died in combat 3 months ago. God blessed with those services as we were pondering the question of "How to Wait on the Lord"

After the evening service, I drove through the night 800 miles from NC to preach in Mobile, AL at a youth meeting there. It was such a blessing to preach as we saw around 7 young people come to Christ during the service. It was a very quick trip and then straight back up to NC I went, obviously my wife and little Jasmine didn't come on this trip.

After the whirlwind trip, I am now back in Wilson, NC for revival services here at Bethel Baptist Church. Already in the week, we have seen a sweet couple get saved on Sunday Morning and get baptized that evening. We have decisions about laziness, purity, and so much more. God is definitely doing a work in this revival and it is sure exciting to see what is going to be next.

Please pray for us as we are still trying to pray in a miracle concerning this travel trailer, God can do it and we are just simply trusting in Him.

FBN RADIO SHARE-A-THON TIME

Well we have made it home after a 13 hour train ride from Birmingham, AL to Wilson, NC. Thankfully everything went fine and we made it home safely.

Now for the next 2 days I will be in on the radio like I was yesterday at my home church raising funds for the Fundamental Brodcasting Network. If you are not familiar with the station check it out at www.fbnradio.com

Tune in if you can and definitely support if God so lays it upon your heart!

Scotts, MI and Montgomery, AL Camp Meeting

Well its been a busy week in the Lord's work once again. God blessed at the revival there in Scotts, MI, we were able to visit with some friends from college as well as help a hurting church. Praise the Lord in the midst of being an encouragement and a blessing to the folks, there were about 10 people saved. God is so so good, no wonder the Devil has been fighting us soooo very hard.

We went to the other side of the US specturm moving from MI to AL. God granted us safety as we traveled to the Fannin Road Baptist Church Annual Camp Meeting hosted by Pastor Jim Lester. It was exciting each night as the singing groups prepared hearts for the messages preached each evening. There was a spirirt of anticipation of what God was going to do, that it made the enitre weekend very exciting. There was another preacher there named Bro. Rusty who we enjoyed getting to meet and fellowship with. Praise the Lord at the end of the week there about 8 souls that came to Christ.

It has been great to see God so evident in the past 2 weeks especially watching around 30 to 40 kids, teens, and adults come to Christ. Thank you for holding us up in prayer!!

SCOTTS, MI REVIVAL

Well after a busy yet profitable week in Port St. Lucie we now move north to Michigan. We made it after a long day of travel on Friday and we started preaching on Saturday to the teenagers here.

This revival will probably hold some uniqueness because the church is very much a hurting church in need of feeling God's arms around them. Therefore do pray for me that I will be sensitive to what God would have me preach and that the hearts of the people would be greatly encouraged as a result of the revival.

Keep the whole family in prayer as we have been busy busy for the past couple of days. Pray that our health stays in tact and that we would be able to be a blessing to places we minister to.

15+ Going Back for Salvation

What an exciting couple of days it has been. First Thank you for those for praying for me during my sickness I'm doing much better but not quite out of the woods yet.

My birthday was yesterday and I prayed that it would be a day that someone would get saved. I preached a total of 3x's once to kids then the teens and then the adults. Each went well but especially the teen department. At the invitation it was amazing to watch all of these teenagers and pre-teens go back for salvation. Some were saved, some got assurace, some rededicated their life, it was just an exciting time. God has been definitely doing a work in this meeting!

Please continue to pray as it is not over yet!!

Port St. Lucie Revival

Now we are in Port St. Lucie, FL and already had a good start and looking forward to the rest of the week. Primarily we will be preaching at Barnabas Christian Acadamey for their Spiritual Emphasis Week starting tomorrow. I have always enjoyed preaching to Christian School groups in the past and looking forward to this one as well.

A couple of things to be in prayer for especially. Please pray for my health especially, here recently I do not know what is going on but its causing me lack of energy and other distracting complications. It would be great to preach this week without any physical things coming into play. Also please pray the meeting would be of great help to the school. Many at this school need to be saved, therefore were praying for very tender hearts and moving of the Holy Spirit this week. Many Christians here need to arise out of apathy and we pray that God can do a work in our midst.

Thanks again for your prayer support. And also the family is doing well and adjusting well to life on the road!

More Saved...

Thank the Lord for another great week earler we were talking of the blessings of the Lord concerning the Liberty Baptist Church Revival. Well the Lord blessed and there were 7 teens and adults saved this past week. God blessed with souls saved but also a real outpouring of His Holy  Spirit upon His church. Sin was made right and cold hearts began to warm to the things of the truth. God did a mighty working and it was great to sit back and watch.

Well this week we had a cancellation at Antrim Faith Baptist Church in Waynesboro, PA. Unfortunately they had an unexpected  expensive repair bill that hindered them from the Camp Meeting this year. God is in control, and we are fine with it, therefore we are at home preparing for the next week in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Thank you for your continued prayers for a truck and trailer, we are still searching and seeking God's will in this very important matter.

Liberty Baptist Church Revival

Hello Praying friends, God has certainly been good to us over this past week. For an update concering the truck and trailer we are still earnestly praying that God would open a door of opportunity for us to be able to purchase one, so we appreciater your continued prayers.

Now we are Indianapolis, IN at Liberty Baptist Church

http://www.lbcwestindy.com/

The church is an extremely friendly and we are having a tremedous meeting with them. If there is any way to join us please do. The address can be found at the website above. God has been doing a work with the leadership of Pastor Messer they are desperately seeking real REVIVAL in their midst. Please be with us in prayer about the matter.

Please Pray....

Thank you once again to all of our prayer and financial supporters. Here recently there has been an offer from another great evangelist that is going to the pastorate for his truck and trailer. The trailer is in pristine condition and the price he is asking is extremely generous deal. Please pray that if God wants us to have it that He will provide the necessary funds to be able to do so. This is time-sensitive therefore your prayers are greatly appreciated!
